My thesis was published in Dermatological and Venereological Review of the Hungarian Dermatological Society.

biography

As a member of the Hungarian Dermatological Society, I have been and still I am a regular speaker at several professional events and postgraduate training courses of the Society, participating in poster sections as well.

My professional experience predominantly comes from my work performed at the Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology and Oncodermatology, University of Pécs, Medical School; Department of Dermatology of Markusovszky Teaching Hospital, Szombathely; Department of Dermatology, Flór Ferenc Hospital of Pest County.

Scientific background, patient-oriented attitude, curiosity, accuracy, analytic approach, consistency are the major factors that help me in diagnosing and treating my patients every day.

Professional profile

Naevus (mole) and skin cancer screening, general dermatology, cosmetology, venereology, assessment and treatment of lymphoedema, foot ulcers.

I put a great emphasis on naevus (mole) screening by dermatoscope since moles existing on the skin for a long time may convert to skin cancer (melanoma) at any time.

Malignant melanoma screenings are also carried out in my praxis. During the last four decades, occurrence of this malignant skin disorder has risen considerably all over the world, with a growing ratio of individuals of younger age. Therefore, its early diagnosis, surgical removal and per protocol treatment is crucial.

I also perform the removal of benign skin growths, fibromas, viral warts, senile skin lesions.

Hair is an essential part of individual beauty and harmony which determines our appearance, image; therefore, evaluation and treatment of hair problems are of great importance for me.

Other conditions treated: acne, rosacea, perioral and seborrheic dermatitis, nail fungus, bacterial and viral diseases.

As a general dermatologist, I also deal with the treatment of chronic wounds and ulcers where I use intelligent bandages with confidence.

Complex treatment of lyhmphoedema is included in my fields of activity; I prescribe lymphatic massages, if required and do the follow-up examinations of such patients.

I have participated in theoretical and hands-on trainings for the clinical application of LASER; this knowledge and experience is used in my everyday praxis.

Scope of my activity involves the treatment of chronic skin conditions such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, nettle-rash (hives), allergic skin conditions, psoriasis.

To reveal the cause of certain chronic skin problems I also performs punch biopsy for histological evaluation.

Sexually transmitted diseases (HPV, vaginal trush, trichomonas vaginalis, Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, genital herpes simplex, lues, HIV) are addressed in my everyday pratice as well.

My previous training as a GP is a great help in practising dermatology because it provides an insight to the relationships between skin symptoms and other health problems, as well as general health condition of the patient.
